Hello and welcome to READY SET KINDER! 

I'm Natalie Balcon - the very proud founder and director here at RSK. 

With 15 years teaching experience, I have a huge passion for helping our little ones succeed in their primary years.

I have taught throughout South West Sydney, Kindergarten to Year 6, a range of needs and a huge variety of personalities. But at the end of the day, my heart lies with our littlest.

Kindergarten has always been my happy place, and I've spent most of my teaching career in the Kindergarten rooms, leading programs, leading teachers, and helping our babies thrive. 

There's nothing like a conversation with a five year old to brighten your day! 

I can't wait to meet all our new Ready Set Kinders and help them on their journey to big school! 

You will see me most days leading the programs at RSK, so please feel free to say hello and come in for a chat!

Hi everyone! My name is Melanie O'Dea and I can’t wait to see you at Ready Set Kinder! 

 I am a Primary School Teacher with a Masters degree and over 10 years experience in the classroom!

I love watching little minds figure out the world around them and get so much joy from being a part of their learning journey. 

I have taught lots of different personalities, learning styles, and abilities and can’t wait to be a part of your time at Ready Set Kinder!

I lead the BUBS program here at Ready Set Kinder and you will find me in the classrooms Mondays and Tuesdays this year. 

Hi Everyone! My name is Renae De Giorgio.

I am very excited to join the Ready Set Kinder team! 

I hold a Bachelor of Teaching degree and have over 18 years experience working with children aged from 6 weeks to 12 years old. 

I have worked in early childhood settings, OOSH and primary schools. 

For me, working with children is very rewarding. I believe in learning through play and enjoy helping children reach their goals. I enjoy seeing the excitement and confidence gained when these goals are reached. Children are constantly learning and I love being a part of this!

My name is Teaghan Thompson and I am so excited to be joining Ready Set Kinder in 2026.

I am a Primary School Teacher with a Bachelors Degree and over 8 years experience in the classroom.

I am a passionate and creative educator who truly enjoys watching little minds grow. I love creating a warm, engaging classroom where students feel safe to explore, ask questions, and express themselves. Helping children discover their strengths and develop a love for learning is what inspires me every day.

I enjoy using creative activities and hands-on experiences to help students explore new ideas and build important skills.

 I look forward to seeing all your happy faces at Ready Set Kinder!

Hi, My name is Sue Zinghini and I have been involved with Ready Set Kinder since its foundation. 

I have 43 years teaching experience in the Liverpool and Camden areas during which time I have taught across all grades K - 6.  

I have been involved in Learning Support programs and developed programs for Gifted and Talented students. 

I am passionate about introducing little ones to the world of reading and writing and am particularly interested in developing within children, a love for numeracy through fun activities.
